The earth tones here are very soothing to the eye not to mention the softness of the photo. There are no sharp lines on the woman (filter?)....soft and blurred ever so slightly which in a way gives it the feel of a painting. The mood set reminds me of stories of a lady waiting for her sailor husband/lover to return from sea, but here it looks as if see is waiting for "something" or someone to appear over the horizon line....something that is not an illusion appearing from the heat of the sun.

Film photographers often suffer from mixed emulsions. ---horrible puns from my husband ~novispoon ;-)
